Ilgiz Fazulzyanov — Russia's most acclaimed jewellery artist

Ilgiz Fazulzyanov — a bridge between eras, in whose hands a vanishing craft is reborn as the living breath of art

For over thirty years Ilgiz has been creating extraordinary jewellery that captivates professionals and collectors alike. His creative journey is equally remarkable: starting without formal jewellery training, he threw himself into self-education with extraordinary dedication.

An artistic education, a heightened sense of beauty and an incredible work ethic would not allow him to be satisfied with basic skills. He undertook unique work to revive ancient, nearly lost techniques of Bulgar jewellery.

Eager to master every jewellery technique possible, he never stopped exploring and experimenting, and his discovery of enamel work opened up virtually unlimited creative possibilities.

Having chosen hot jewellery enamel, one of the most complex techniques in the art, Ilgiz not only preserves ancient traditions but actively develops them using 21st-century technology.

Thanks to his innovations, the art of jewellery enamel reaches a new level. He masterfully combines a rich palette of hot enamel across different surfaces and techniques in a single piece.

Today, Ilgiz Fazulzyanov’s works are held in:
